I guess the thing with me is that I’m just so lazy. There’s not much else to it. Even with the world wide web sitting at my finger tips damn near anytime I please, I still haven’t taken the time to do what I should have done months ago, which is to find a local Dentist.

Being in college for almost four (4) years has made me even lazier. The was only one dentist and that was in the on campus dental clinic. There was no option. You wen there once a semester for your free cleaning and if you needed any work done they’d refer you to one of about five (5) local dentists in the area.

Well after moving down here to Plano where their are tons of dentists on every block, this has made my job a bit more difficult. But after Friday, I definitely need to get one.

I was sitting in the break room at work minding my own business when a co worker popped some popcorn into the microwave. She sat and we chatted until it was done. Then the generosity hit her so she offered me some. I politely refused, but she persisted. Now I don’t like popcorn (now I remember why), but I said what the hell why not?

After a few bites I noticed the stabbing pain in my molar. Oh yeah, I popped a crown. I kind of played it off for a while until she left. Then I hopped into the bathroom and tried to deal with the situation. I poked at it for a while until it fell back in place. Afterwards I headed straight to my desk and searched for a dentist in a five (5) mile radius of my apartment, called up and made an appointment for Tuesday. Until then, I’ve been advised to do the soup thing.

It would have been great if I had Dentemp OS on Friday. That would save me some face. It would have bought me at least an hour, where I wouldn’t have to hide from people for fear of my crown slipping further out and poking out their eye.

Here’s what’s so great about this product:

Provides fast, temporary relief of pain and discomfort.

Just remove it from its plastic vial and it’s ready to use. No Mess! No Mixing! Several Applications in each vial.

Replaces lost fillings and may be used to temporarily cement loose crowns.

You can eat on it within 30 minutes of setting.

All products have been tested and fully comply with FDA Regulations for Oral Care.

Go ahead try it out as a quick form of temporary dental repair. You got nothing to lose.

Faxing is something you don’t really hear many people talking about these days. Now do you really blame them? With the advent of email, what’s really the point, right? But there’s a hybrid: there are high tech businesses that live in a world of fiber optics and T1 lines, but they also need to send and receive faxes. Are they really going to just stick a phone line in there, and slap an old school fax machine on there?

No, they’re going to hook up a Fax Server and use a Fax Over IP solution for their business. This allows something that allows unlimited users, integrates with Outlook and much more. Yeah at $4,800 a pop for the VOIP version, it’s a bit steep, but just think of sending several thousand faxes a month over a phone line.

It’s a brave new world; nice to see Fax Software stepping into the light.

Introduction

These guys make it a point of duty to try their hardest to follow Google’s Webmaster Guidelines to drive traffic. Who benefits from this service? Based on the name of this service, you can see that it’s not for your average blogger. This service will benefit folks with eCommerce sites or some other type of static content.

They specialize in SEO for static pages. They use targeted key words, to help you build key word rich content for your website to drive the most traffic to it.

Design

As I do with every site I review, I have to give my commentary on their web design. At first, it struck me as relatively cool, even a lil’ Web 2.0 (ish). There are some nice Web 2.0 buttons, a basic logo with some reflections. But then I looked at the source and was gravely disappointed by the number of tables there were.

Conclusion

This is a fairly new search engine optimization company, give them a try and let me know what you think. At $0.10 per static page, what do you have to lose?

I’ve finally received my cell phone from T-Mobile. It’s the Samsung t509, or as I like to call it, the silver plum. My contract was up and I was in search of a new phone. T-Mobile usually doesn’t have a very good selection of phones, so my choices were the Samsung and the every stylish BlackBerry Pearl (the black one of course). Although I am deeply in love with this phone, my budget dictated the former choice.

But back on to perfection. I’m not usually a fan of smartphones. In the increasing era of small, slick, thin phones it seems that smartphones are going in the opposite direction. They are big, fat, and clunky. They make perfect PDAs I guess, but I hate nothing more that to see someone lifting a fat BlackBerry up to their ears and making a phone call. And the way it sits on that belt clip reminds me of those huge Texas style belt buckles that everyone seems to fancy these days. The BlackBerry is fat, the SDA is huge and the MDA is morbidly obese in my opinion.

But then there came the Pearl. When I first saw a picture of the phone I was impressed. It looked like a, well, a phone. But I just figured that, as usual, the pictures were misleading and that it was actually huge in person. I hoped down to a T-Mobile store (actually, it’s just a kiosque) and took a look. I was speechless. The phone is sleek; it’s small; it’s stylish; it’s nice and black and shiny; and it’s functional. The only thing that it lacks from its bigger brothers is that there is a lack of the stylus functionality. That was a little bit of a turn off for me, but just for a minute. I picked it up, made sure the battery was installed and felt it’s weight in my hands. It weighed just a little bit more than my Nokia 6101. Then I dropped it into my pocket and I almost melted with joy. You could hardly tell that it was there.

I stood trying to haggle with the agent for about 30 minutes. My contract was up, so I thought that I had a good bargaining chip. But I was dismayed to find out that I could only get a deal on the BlackBerry Pearl if I also purchased the BlackBerry data plan. Now I’m not a real fan of this plan. I’m still not sure why the BlackBerry needs its own data plan, why it’s so expensive, and why I can’t just use it with the regular internet plan. Reluctantly I walked out with the Samsung t509. At that point, I just wanted to get out of there. What I should have done is head over to Wirefly and see what sort of deals they had on a Blackberry smartphone, but from my understanding their terms and conditions state that you can only use their service to sign up new service with or to switch cell phone providers. Shoot!
